Chelsea defender Gary Cahill issues a rallying cry ahead of their clash against Leicester City on Wednesday night
Gary Cahill has urged Chelsea to get the job done against Leicester City as the Blues edge ever closer to the Premier League title.
Jose Mourinho’s side can move 13 points clear of Manchester City and Arsenal on Tuesday night, which would end the Citizens’ title hopes.
The Gunners, like Chelsea, have five games remaining in the Premier League campaign, but Arsene Wenger’s men don’t play their game in hand until May 20.
Cahill, who was a key part of a dogged Chelsea performance in a goalless draw at The Emirates on Sunday, took to Instagram to issue his team-mates with a rallying cry.
Cahill posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Come on lads, let’s do this! #comeonchelsea #CFC #KTBFFH @chelseafc”
Nigel Pearson’s Leicester side climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to four successive Premier League wins in recent weeks.
The Foxes have a miserable recent record against the Premier League leaders, though, losing their last six games in all competitions.
