Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane reached 30 goals for the season after he scored at Newcastle
Harry Kane uploaded a photo of his goal celebration with Ryan Mason after the Tottenham Hotspur striker scored for the 30th time this season at Newcastle United.
The PFA player and young player of the year nominee netted the north London side’s third in a 3-1 victory over the Magpies at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old beat Mark Falco’s previous record of 29 goals in a single campaign for Tottenham with a close-range strike to finish of a counter-attack.
Kane uploaded the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Celebrating 30 goals with my boy @ryanmason38 #COYS”
The England international is the Premier League’s leading goal-scorer after his 20th strike of the campaign.
Kane, who signed a new five-and-a-half year deal with the League Cup runners-up earlier this year, has five more Premier League games to add to his tally.
The Spurs talisman is facing competition for the PFA player of the year award from Chelsea duo Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, David De Gea, Philippe Coutinho and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
