Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard takes to Instagram with just 24 days left of his Reds career

Steven Gerrard has vowed to savour every last moment of his Liverpool career ahead of the season’s finale.

The Reds skipper is set to leave his boyhood club at the end of the season after an 18-year career at Anfield.

Gerrard was denied a fitting fairytale ending after Liverpool crashed out of the FA Cup semi-final earlier this month.

However, the 34-year-old is refusing to be downbeat as the midfielder enters the final 24 days of his career before his switch to Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy.

Gerrard posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Trying to enjoy every last moment #24days”

Gerrard has 183 goals in 706 appearances in all competitions since the midfielder made his Liverpool debut in 1998.

The former England captain has won the Champions League, the Uefa Cup, two FA Cups and three League Cups during his Anfield career.
