Adnan Januzaj appeared to enjoy a training session with his Manchester United team-mates ahead of their clash against Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Belgium international has been used sparingly by manager Louis van Gaal this season despite an impressive 2013/14 breakthrough campaign under the Dutchman’s predecessor David Moyes.

Januzaj was a 70th-minute substitute in United’s 1-0 defeat by Premier League leaders Chelsea last weekend, but the winger was unable to inspire a late equaliser for the visitors.

But the 20-year-old is looking forward to Saturday’s game judging by his Instagram account, posting a snap from training on Friday with a positive caption.

Januzaj wrote: “Enjoying training #MUFC”

The United winger has failed to score or make an assist in 17 Premier League appearances this season.

Januzaj has racked up just 783 minutes of top-flight action this term – only Tyler Blackett, James Wilson and Rafael da Silva have seen less league action.
