Manchester United forward Adnan Januzaj wishes on-loan Lille forward Divock Origi happy 20th birthday

Adnan Januzaj and Divock Origi will be bitter rivals next season, but for now, the Manchester United forward still considers the striker a footballing brother.

The Lille forward is set to join Liverpool at the end of the season after the Reds sealed a deal to sign the Belgium international last summer before agreeing to loan him back to the Ligue 1 side.

Januzaj, who was also part of Marc Wilmots’ Belgium squad for last year’s World Cup, has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in Louis van Gaal’s this term.

So the United forward has plenty of time to spend on his Instagram account and keep tabs on friends’ birthdays as the United youngster sent best wishes Origi’s way.

Januzaj wrote: “Happy birthday to the brother @divockorigi”

Origi has scored seven goals in 27 Ligue 1 appearances this term, whilst also making three assists for his team-mates.

Januzaj, however, has started just seven Premier League games under Van Gaal this season.
