Thibaut Courtois expresses his delight at helping Chelsea beat Manchester United

Thibaut Courtois took to social media on Sunday to express his delight at helping Chelsea extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United.

The goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes as Jose Mourinho’s men took a step closer to winning their first Premier League title since 2010 with a win at Stamford Bridge.

And the Blues shot-stopper was delighted to help the west London side seal the three points against the Red Devils.

He posted the picture above of himself making a save during the game on his Instagram account and wrote: “Great win yesterday! #comeonchelsea #cfc”

Chelsea now need just two more wins from their remaining six games to win the Premier League title next season.

Courtois will be expecting to feature when the Blues travel to Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal next Sunday.

The Belgian shot-stopper has played 28 Premier League games for Chelsea since his return from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid last summer.
