Roberto Soldado reveals that he has travelled with Tottenham to Burnley ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash
Roberto Soldado has handed Tottenham Hotspur a boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Burnley on Sunday by declaring himself fit and ready to feature.
Soldado, 29, has been out of action in recent weeks with a knee injury but posted a picture from the plane as Tottenham travelled to Burnley on Saturday evening.
The Spanish forward, who has managed just one Premier League goal for Spurs so far this season, shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Tomorrow the Premier is back!!! Happy to return to travel with the team”
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been ruled out of the game due to a knee injury.
The Lilywhites have won six of their last 10 top-flight games as Pochettino attempts to guide the north London club to a top-four finish in his first season in charge at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham head into Sunday’s game in seventh place in the Premier League table and eight points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
