Tottenham striker Harry Kane uploads Throwback Thursday snap to celebrate St George's Day
Harry Kane is presumably feeling particularly patriotic on St George’s Day after the Tottenham Hotspur striker made his England debut at Wembley last month.
The Spurs talisman was named in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the most recent international break and Kane scored his first Three Lions goal in a 4-0 win against Lithuania.
Although Kane failed to net in a 1-1 draw with Italy days later, the Tottenham man appears set to play a big part in the future of the national team after a special season.
And the 21-year-old, who scored in a 3-1 win at Newcastle United last weekend, took to Instagram on Thursday morning to post a photo with his brother from their childhood days.
Kane wrote: “Happy St George’s Day! Throwback Me and my Brother! #StGeorgesDay”
Kane has been nominated the PFA player and young player of the year awards, although the Spurs star faces competition from the likes of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard and Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
The Tottenham striker has scored 20 goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
