Liverpool train at Melwood ahead of their Premier League clash with QPR this weekend

Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling appeared to be in good spirits as Liverpool trained at Melwood on Thursday morning.

The Reds are looking to bounce back from the disappointment of their 1-0 defeat by Hull City on Tuesday night and will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Queens Park Rangers at Anfield on Saturday.

Despite the disappointment of Tuesday’s loss, which dealt a huge blow to Liverpool’s hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League, Brendan Rodgers’ men looked to be in a relatively positive mood.

Also pictured in action at a bright and sunny Melwood were the likes of Steven Gerrard and Adam Lallana.

Tuesday’s loss left Liverpool fifth in the Premier League table and seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United heading into the final four games of the season. The Reds take on Chelsea after QPR.

Here are some of the best pictures from Thursday morning’s training session at Melwood.
