Manchester United train at Carrington ahead of their trip to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday

Juan Mata looked in good shape as Manchester United trained ahead of their crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Louis van Gaal’s men were put through their paces at United’s Carrington training base as the Red Devils geared up for their trip to west London.

Mata and Fellaini, who have both been in good form for United in recent weeks, looked focused as they and their team-mates were given a final run-out before Saturday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.

United will be without a number of key players for Saturday’s clash. Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon, United boss Van Gaal revealed that Michael Carrick, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Daley Blind are all unavailable for the trip to the capital.

However, striker Robin van Persie could be available for selection after his lay-off with an ankle injury.

Here are some of the best pictures from Friday’s training session at Carrington.
