Piers Morgan explains why Arsenal are more boring than Chelsea

Arsenal supporters Piers Morgan is desperate for the Gunners to adopt Chelsea's winning mentality

Piers Morgan has branded the Arsenal mentality “boring” after the celebrity Gooner watched Chelsea edge closer to the Premier League crown.

The Blues can win their fourth top-flight crown if the west London side beat Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal, meanwhile, trail Jose Mourinho’s side by 13 points, although the Gunners have the consolation of an FA Cup final date with Aston Villa next month.

However, celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan wants Arsenal to become more pragmatic and follow Chelsea and Mourinho’s successful approach to football games.

The former Daily Mirror editor spoke of his respect for the Chelsea manager and his mentality.

The Gunners ended a nine-year trophy drought last season after a 3-2 extra-time victory over Hull City in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

However, the north Londoners haven’t tasted title glory since their famous Invincibles side stormed to the top-flight crown in 2004.
