Piers Morgan: I’d admit to being wrong about Arsene Wenger and Arsenal

Piers Morgan insists that he would be willing to admit he was wrong should Arsene Wenger lead Arsenal to the title next season

Piers Morgan has insisted that he would hold his hands up and admit he was wrong if Arsene Wenger were to guide Arsenal to the Premier League title next season.

The celebrity Arsenal fan and former Daily Mirror editor has made no secret of his desire to see the Frenchman step aside at Emirates Stadium and let a new manager take charge at the north London club.

Morgan, however, says that he would be willing to backtrack on his comments should he be proven wrong by Wenger leading Arsenal to the title next season.

Morgan replied to a post by Twitter user @AkilKapasi by saying that he would admit that he was wrong about Wenger – but emphasised that he doesn’t expect it to happen.

Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table heading into Monday’s clash with Hull City, however they can move up to second if they win their game in hand.
