We are pleased to announce that The Sport Review Academy is now accepting applicants for its first course, which starts on 27 April.

If you are an aspiring journalist or blogger, The Sport Review Academy is the perfect place to hone your writing skills while earning a name for yourself on one of the fastest-growing sports websites in the UK.

We pride ourselves on giving up-and-coming sports journalists a platform to further their careers. With more than 100 contributors having written for the site, we like to think that we have helped many break into the world of sports journalism.

As a member of The Sport Review Academy, you will have the chance to work closely with one of the site’s editors, while gaining invaluable experience in writing for an online audience of over 1 million users per month.

Much like other forms of journalism, and most jobs in general, further training is key to making waves in the job market. Many of The Sport Review’s former contributors and journalists have gone on to secure permanent positions at newspapers, websites and press teams.

The course will start on 27 April and run for 10 weeks, providing aspiring journalists and bloggers with the chance to play their part in a big summer of sport on The Sport Review.

The deadline to apply for a place in The Academy is midnight on Friday 24 April 2015.
