Tottenham star rivals David Attenborough with dolphin knowledge

Tottenham forward Nacer Chadli tells his Twitter followers dolphins can predict 'deceptively cold' London weather

Nacer Chadli could have a future presenting nature documentaries when his football days are over if the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder’s Twitter feed is anything to go by.

The Belgium international has a deep appreciation for dolphins which has steadily grown over the past 12 months judging by the increasing frequency of his #dolphinfacts tweets on the social media.

The 25-year-old forward has regularly struggled to cope with the cold and unpredictable London weather following his £8m move from Eredivisie side FC Twente in 2013.

But Chadli distracted himself and his Twitter followers from a crisp morning with an apt fact-filled Twitter post about his favourite mammals.

The Spurs star has enjoyed a promising second season in the Premier League after a slow start to his White Hart Lane career.

The Liege-born winger, who moved to the north London club in a £7m deal from Eredivisie side FC Twente in 2013, has scored 10 goals in 31 Premier League appearances.
