Tottenham transfers: Hernanes rules out Inter Milan exit

Tottenham Hotspur target Hernanes insists he has no plans to leave Inter Milan in the summer

Hernanes has reiterated that he has no plans to leave Inter Milan in the summer despite reported interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Brazil international has started just 11 Serie A games this season despite Inter’s well-documented struggles in the Italian top-flight.

Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old playmaker in recent weeks as they look to bolster their squads.

However, Hernanes, who moved to Inter from Lazio in a £18m deal in January 2014, ruled out a move away from the San Siro outfit despite recent transfer speculation.

“My future? I’m feeling fine here and I want to stay until we start winning [trophies] again,” Hernanes is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.

“The derby draw has left us with a bitter taste in our mouth, we deserved to win and the three points would have been very important.”

The South American playmaker has scored two goals and has made two assists in 20 Serie A appearances this season, racking up 1,114 minutes of top-flight action.

Hernanes moved to Inter in a controversial deal from Lazio which prompted the Rome side’s supporters to protest over the sale of their star player to a rival.
