Watch Chelsea striker Loic Remy work on comeback from injury
Chelsea striker Loic Remy gives an insight into his rehabilitation from injury after he missed Arsenal draw
Loic Remy appears determined to make a comeback as soon as possible after the Chelsea striker uploaded a video of a session in the swimming pool.
The France international hasn’t featured for the Premier League leaders since he suffered an injury during a training session over two weeks ago.
Remy wasn’t ready to return to the bench for the west London side’s goalless draw with bitter rivals Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
However, the 28-year-old gave Chelsea supporters some hope that he could be fit for their game against relegation-threatened Leicester on Wednesday night.
Remy wrote: “Recovery in training this week.”
Remy has scored five goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season, although the French striker has started just four top-flight games.
The former Marseille man completed a £10m switch to Chelsea from their west London rivals Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window.
