Watch Didier Drogba and team-mates rubbish ‘boring Chelsea’ talk
Didier Drogba uploads a snap of the Chelsea squad enjoy a game of keepy uppy over the dinner table
The Chelsea squad have laughed off accusations of being a boring side by entertaining their Instagram followers with a game of keepy uppy over the dinner table.
Jose Mourinho’s side were criticised for a ruthlessly efficient performance in a stalemate with their nearest rivals Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Former Liverpool and Real Madrid legend Steve McManaman was just one of a number of pundits to criticise the west London side’s pragmatic approach to the top-of-the-table clash.
But the Chelsea squad responded with a video on Tuesday night as Didier Drogba, John Terry, Loic Remy, Thibaut Courtois, John Obi Mikel and Cesar Azpilicueta played their part in a little routine over the dinner table.
Drogba posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram:
Chelsea are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table following their goalless draw with Arsenal at The Emirates.
Mourinho’s men face relegation strugglers Leicester City at King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
