Andy Murray beat Philipp Kohlschreiber for the second time in three days to reach the third round of the Mutua Madrid Open on Wednesday night.
The Scot sealed a 6-4 3-6 6-0 victory in a match that ended at 3am local time as he hit 23 winners en route to victory in the one hour, 47-minute encounter.
The 27-year-old also beat the German in a third-set tie-break on Monday to win his first clay-court title in Munich.
Murray faces Marcel Granollers for the sixth time in the third round.
