Liverpool defender Jose Enrique: Chelsea completely deserve title

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique heaps praise on new Premier League champions Chelsea

Jose Enrique says Chelsea “completely deserve” their Premier League title glory after the Blues sealed their fourth top-flight crown on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho’s side edged to a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge courtesy of Eden Hazard’s first-half winner against the Eagles.

Chelsea, who won the Capital One Cup earlier this season, sealed their third title under Mourinho with three games remaining.

Liverpool defender Enrique was quick to praise the new English champions on Twitter after the west London side edged to a narrow victory.

The Reds will be expected to give Chelsea a guard of honour at Stamford Bridge next weekend as Brendan Rodgers’ side make the trip to the capital.

Mourinho’s men memorably beat Liverpool which prompted the collapse of the Merseyside’s title bid with three games to play last season.

The Reds are currently a staggering 22 points behind the Premier League champions.
