Liverpool legend John Aldridge praises Adam Lallana for speaking honestly about his first season at Anfield
John Aldridge has praise Adam Lallana for speaking honestly about his disappointing debut campaign at Anfield.
The Liverpool midfielder has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot in Brendan Rodgers’ side due to fitness and form problems.
Lallana, who featured in a 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday,, has started just 20 of the Merseyside club’s 35 Premier League games this season.
The former Southampton captain spoke to the Daily Mirror about his subdued first campaign on Monday, and Liverpool legend Aldridge tweeted a photo of the article.

Lallana has scored three goals and has made four assists in 24 Premier League appearances this season following a £25m move to Anfield from Southampton last summer.
The England international has racked up just 1,544 minutes of top-fight action after a number of spells on the sidelines.
Lallana earned a big-money switch to Liverpool after he scored nine goals and made seven assists in 37 games for Southampton in the 2013/14 season.
