Manchester United reach an agreement with PSV Eindhoven and Memphis Depay over player's transfer
Memhpis Depay is set to join Manchester United after the Red Devils reached an agreement with the player and PSV Eindhoven.
The Netherlands international’s transfer is pending the successful completion of his medical at the 20-time English champions.
The newly-crowned Eredivisie champions confirmed the agreement in a statement on Twitter on Thursday morning.

United were quick to follow up PSV’s announcement with a series of posts on the club’s Twitter page.
Pending the successful completion of the medical, the deal will go through once the transfer window opens in June.

The Red Devils were thought to face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool for the winger’s signature.
Depay played under current United boss Louis van Gaal at last summer’s World Cup in Brazil as the Dutch finished in third place in the tournament.
The forward scored 22 goals in 28 Eredivise appearances last season as the Dutch forward helped fire PSV to the Dutch top-flight crown last weekend.
The United manager has already signed Depay’s Dutch team-mate Daley Blind, who completed a £16m move to Old Trafford from Ajax last year.
