Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole catches up with Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes over dinner
Andy Cole caught up with his fellow Manchester United legends Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt over dinner on Friday night.
The Red Devils trio were team-mates during the 1990s and 2000s when United had a stranglehold on the Premier League crown under the stewardship of legend Sir Alex Ferguson.
The current Manchester crop are battling to finish in the top four after a mixed first season under Louis van Gaal, who replaced Ferguson’s axed successor David Moyes last May.
And Cole, Butt and Scholes presumably discussed their former club’s first signing of the summer, Memphis Depay, after United agreed a reported £25m deal with PSV Eindhoven on Thursday.
Cole wrote the following caption: “Decent meal at Cecconis in #London with the lads”
The 43-year-old retired striker scored 93 goals in 195 Premier League appearances for the 20-time English champions during a eight-year stay at Old Trafford.
Cole won the Champions League, five Premier League titles and two FA Cup crowns during his career.
