Chelsea striker Didier Drogba looks pleased with himself after the west London side's title triumph

It is no wonder Didier Drogba is looking particularly smug at the moment after Chelsea won their fourth Premier League title at the weekend.

The Ivory Coast star has played a key role for the west London side in recent months despite being deep into the twilight of his career.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was forced to turn to Drogba in the absence of injured duo Diego Costa and Loic Remy throughout April.

Unsurprisingly given his calibre, the 37-year-old managed to do a job for the Blues, who sealed their title success with a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Drogba took to Instagram to upload a particularly smug selfie and include a fist punch emoticon as his caption.

The Chelsea legend has scored four goals and made one assist in 27 Premier League appearance this season, although the veteran has started just seven games.

Drogba has now won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, three FA Cups and four League Cups.
