Daley Blind has reflected on his first year as a Manchester United player at “special” Old Trafford.

The Netherlands international helped the Red Devils play out a 1-1 draw with bitter rival Arsenal on Sunday afternoon in their final home game of the season.

Blind has been a regular in Louis van Gaal’s side this year after the midfielder recovered from a knee injury that he suffered on international duty last autumn.

The 25-year-old, who moved to the Red Devils from Ajax last summer, took to Instagram on Monday morning to thank the club’s supporters and pay tribute to a special club.

Blind posted the above montage of photos and wrote on Instagram: “Thanks for your support all season, my first year and i noticed that old trafford is a special place. #MUFC”

Blind has scored two goals and has made two assists in 24 Premier League appearances for Van Gaal’s men this season.
