Daley Blind has welcomed compatriot Memphis Depay to Manchester United after the Red Devils sealed to sign the PSV Eindhoven forward.

The Red Devils confirmed that they have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven over the sale of Depay, with United reportedly set to pay £25m for the winger’s services.

The Netherlands international, whose move is pending the successful completion of his medical at Carrington, helped PSV end Ajax’s hold on the Eredivisie crown this season.

Blind, who played alongside Depay for the Netherlands at last summer’s World Cup, was the first United player to welcome the 21-year-old to Old Trafford via photo-sharing app Instagram.

Blind posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Welcome to @manchesterunited @memphisdepay #MUFC”

Depay was also being tracked by Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, with Liverpool and the French club thought to be leading the race to sign the Dutch star last month.
