Chelsea captain John Terry enjoys a round of golf with Gianfranco Zola and Francesco Molinari
John Terry enjoyed 18 holes with Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola and golfer Francesco Molinari on Friday afternoon.
The Blues captain was fresh from winning a fourth Premier League title last weekend after a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Former Italy international Zola, however, didn’t win a top-flight crown with the west London side during a seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge.
And Terry caught up with his fellow Chelsea legend and professional golfer Molinari for a leisurely afternoon ahead of the visit of Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Terry posted the above snap and wrote the following caption on Instagram:
“What a pleasure to play 9 holes with these two Legends today. @chiccogolf #Zola Great catching up with Franco, and to watch first hand how well Francesco strikes the ball. You know JT still took the money.”
The veteran centre-half was named in the PFA team of the year after an impressive season for Jose Mourinho’s title-winning side.
Terry has scored four goals in 35 Premier League appearances for the League Cup winners this season.
The Chelsea captain and Branislav Ivanovic have racked up 3,150 minutes of top-flight action this season, which is more than any other Blues player this season.
