Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho issues a rallying cry ahead clash against Queens Park Rangers

Philippe Coutinho has warned Queens Park Rangers that he is ready to turn up the heat at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds playmaker has been one of the Merseyside club’s outstanding performers in a difficult season for the 18-time English champions.

Brazil international Coutinho, who moved to Liverpool from Inter Milan in 2013, has scored two goals in five Premier League appearances.

The 22-year-old midfielder took to his Instagram page to issue a rallying cry as Liverpool look to end a two-game winless Premier League run.

Coutinho posted the above photo and wrote the following caption on Instagram: “Ready to turn up the heat.. Come on boys!! #mercurial.”

Coutinho was named in the PFA team of the year last weekend after the Liverpool midfielder missed out on the PFA player of the year award.
