The Reds midfielder is set to call time on his Reds career at the end of the season ahead of the skipper’s move to Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy in the summer.
Gerrard, who scored against Chelsea in a 1-1 draw last weekend, is expected to line up against Crystal Palace at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Liverpool captain, who has never won the English top-flight, took to the photo-sharing app to speak about the “privilege” of playing for the Merseyside outfit.
Gerrard wrote: “It has been a very special privilege to put on my boots and play for @LiverpoolFC. One more time. One last pair of #predatorinstinct #YNWA @adidasUK”
The Liverpool skipper has scored eight goals and has made one assist in 27 Premier League appearances this season.
Gerrard’s last game for the Reds will be at Stoke City at Britannia Stadium on 24 May.
The former England midfielder has won the Champions League, the Europa League, two FA Cups and three League Cups during a decorated career.
