Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain urges the Gunners to finish off the season in style
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has urged Arsenal to finish off the season in style as the Gunners forward gets ready to make his return to playing action.
The England international hasn’t featured for the north London side since a 2-1 victory over Manchester United in FA Cup quarter-finals at Old Trafford in March.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who moved to the Gunners from Southampton in 2010, also injured his groin which kept the Arsenal forward sidelined for longer than expected.
However, the Arsenal youngster handed Arsene Wenger a boost in their bid to finish second and win the FA Cup after he confirmed that he is on the brink of a return.
Oxlade-Chamberlain posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Good to be back in the mix with the team. Let’s finish the season strong #COYG”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored one goal and has made one assist in 23 Premier League appearances this season.
Wenger’s side face Steve Bruce’s Hull City outfit at KC Stadium on Monday night.
