Novak Djokovic forgot one of the basic rules of champagne bottle opening on Sunday after beating Roger Federer to win the Rome Masters title.

The world No1 was handed a giant bottle of Moët & Chandon to celebrate his straight-sets victory at the Foro Italico.

However, the Serb accidentally fired the cork into his face during the post-match celebrations.

Lesson learned ahead of the French Open, we hope.
