Petr Cech has received a glowing endorsement from one of Arsenal’s greatest goalkeepers amid reports the Chelsea man is on the brink of a switch to The Emirates.

The Czech Republic international is reported to be in discussions over personal terms with the north London side, whilst the Gunners are yet to agree a fee with Chelsea.

Cech has been forced to watch from the sidelines for most of the season after Thibaut Courtois returned from his loan at Atletico Madrid and claimed the number one spot over the summer.

And double-winning shot stopper Wilson was clearly ecstatic to see that the Chelsea legend was close to becoming the FA Cup winners’s first signing of the summer.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker also tweeted his thoughts on the hotly-tipped arrival of Cech at The Emirates.

The Czech goalkeeper has won 12 major trophies during his Stamford Bridge career, including four Premier League titles and the Champions League.
