Arsenal transfers: Arturo Vidal to sign for Gunners, says journalist Hernan Feler
Arturo Vidal could be heading to Arsenal this summer, according to reports on social media
Arsenal have wrapped up the blockbuster signing of Arturo Vidal from Juventus on a five-year contract, according to journalist Hernan Feler.
The Chile international’s future at Juve has been a subject of speculation in recent weeks, with Manchester United reported to be among the clubs keeping tabs on the midfielder.
Arsenal have also recently emerged as a possible Premier League destination for Vidal, as Arsene Wenger looks to transform his side into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.
Now, DirecTV journalist Feler – who was one of the first to report Arsenal’s interest in signing Alexis Sanchez last summer – has claimed that a deal to sign Vidal is now all but complete.
Reports emerged on social media this weekend that Feler had revealed Arsenal’s signing of Videal on Chilean radio, and the reported appeared to endorse those claims by retweeting one of the posts on Twitter.
Vidal, 28, was in fine form for Juventus last season, scoring seven goals and making four assists in 28 Serie A games for the Italian side and helping them to reach the Champions League final.
