Chelsea transfers: Radamel Falcao discusses Stamford Bridge link

Radamel Falcao admits that he could be set to join Chelsea on loan this summer

Radamel Falcao admits that a loan move to Chelsea could be on the cards as the Colombia international continues to be linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

The striker’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks following the conclusion of his unsuccessful loan spell at Manchester United last season.

Falcao only managed to score four goals in all competitions for Louis van Gaal’s men last term before being sent back to his parent club Monaco last month.

However, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bolster his attacking options at Stamford Bridge following Didier Drogba’s exit this summer.

And Falcao, who is currently on international duty with Colombia at the Copa America, has hinted that a move to Chelsea could be on the cards.

Asked if he could move to Chelsea on loan, Falcao is quoted as saying by Eurosport: “It can be, you will know soon.

“I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff are taking care of this.”

Some reports this week claimed that the Blues have already agreed a deal to sign Falcao and will announce it next week.
