Man United transfers: Sergio Ramos responds to Real Madrid exit talk
Manchester United defender Sergio Ramos remains coy when quizzes about his future beyond the summer
Sergio Ramos remained coy when quizzed about the speculation linking the Real Madrid defender with a transfer to Manchester United this summer.
The Spanish defender has been touted as a potential target for the Red Devils in recent days as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his rearguard ahead of his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
Reports in Spain have claimed that United are prepared to offer a fee of £21m plus goalkeeper David De Gea to land Ramos during the current transfer window.
However, Ramos remained somewhat coy when asked about his future beyond this summer this week as the speculation continues.
Asked about his future on Monday, Ramos told Marca en route to a visit with his lawyer in central Madrid: “I never worry.”
Ramos fuelled talk of a potential transfer to the Premier League back in January when he was quoted as saying: “with every passing day, I prefer the English Premier League.”
Ramos has helped Real Madrid win three Spanish league titles during his time at the Bernabeu.
