One Direction star sends message to Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez has been making waves with his One Direction performance...

Alexis Sanchez showed his softer side earlier this week when he demonstrated his singing talent by belting out One Direction’s smash hit ‘More Than This’ while on international duty with Chile at the Copa America.

And the Arsenal star’s performance caught the eye of one of One Direction’s members, with Niall Horan acknowledging the performance on social media.

Horan shared a link to a copy of the video on his Twitter account and wrote: “@Alexis_Sanchez vamooosssssssss.”

The Chile international was one of the Premier League’s standout performers following his £35m transfer to the north London club from Barcelona last summer.

He scored 16 goals and providing eight assists for his team-mates in 35 appearances.

Sanchez helped Arsenal finish in third place in the Premier League to ensure Arsene Wenger’s side qualified directly for the Champions League group stage next season.

He also scored both goals in the FA Cup semi-final against Reading and helped the Gunners end the season with silverware after scoring in the final against Aston Villa to secure a 4-0 victory at Wembley.
