Mesut Ozil has clearly found it easy to switch into holiday mode following his final appearance of the season last weekend.

The Germany playmaker has been enjoying the start of his holiday in Los Angeles after helping his country thrash Gibraltar 7-0 on Saturday night.

And the Arsenal star took to the tennis court with a football during his break as he kept up busy during his downtime.

Ozil posted the picture above on his Instagram account on Thursday and wrote: “Game, set and match for team #ozil! Enjoying the holiday sun and preparing for an exciting new season. Hope you’re also having a good time!”

The midfielder was snapped leaving a nightclub in LA in the early hours of Tuesday morning as he begins to unwind for the summer.
