Manchester United man Marouane Fellaini jets off to Japan with sponsor New Balace

Marouane Fellaini looked in good spirits as he prepared to jet off to Japan for a promotional event.

The Manchester United midfielder has been enjoying some well-earned downtime after playing a significant role in helping Louis van Gaal’s men wrap up a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League.

And the Belgium international, who was in holiday in Miami earlier this month, gave the thumbs up as he reclined in his seat on the plane ahead of his flight to Japan with New Balance.

Fellaini shared the picture above on his Instagram account on Sunday and wrote:

The 27-year-old Fellaini scored six goals in 27 Premier League games for the Red Devils last season as United secured a return to the Champions League in Van Gaal’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.

He also scored once in United’s run to the FA Cup quarter-finals, where they were beaten by eventual winners Arsenal.
