Wayne Rooney is making the most of some precious family time as the Manchester United striker enjoys his summer holidays.

The forward is currently enjoying some well-earned downtime after helping the Red Devils secure a top-four finish in Louis van Gaal’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.

And the striker looks to be enjoying himself with his loved ones, as he snapped a selfie with his wife Coleen and two sons Kai and Klay.

Rooney, who holidayed in the Bahamas in recent weeks, posted the picture above on his Instagram account on Sunday afternoon and wrote: “Family time.”

England captain Rooney enjoyed a relatively successful first season under new Manchester United manager Van Gaal following the Dutchman’s appointment as David Moyes’ permanent successor last summer.
