Aaron Ramsey admits that he does not know who he would rather line up with – Gareth Bale or Alexis Sanchez.

The Arsenal midfielder was asked the question during the official New Balance launch of the Visaro boot in London on Wednesday and conceded that he found it hard to separate the two players.

Speaking at the Q&A session on Wednesday, Ramsey said: “That’s a tough question. Gareth’s a lot more athletic, he’ll just knock the ball in behind you and get on the end of it, create things and score goals.

“Alexis’ work rate and determination to succeed and win the ball back and score is quite sublime as well. I’m just really happy for him to play for Arsenal. They’re great players and it’s hard to separate them.”

The Wales international went on to reveal that his ideal midfield partner – past or present – would be France legend Zinedine Zidane.

The 24-year-old said: “I’d have to say Zidane. For me, some of the things that he did were sublime and he made the game look so easy.”

Ramsey, who made 29 Premier League appearances last season, was this week named in the provisional Arsenal squad to travel to Singapore for the Barclays Asia Trophy later this month.

The likes of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck, however, will miss out after being given extended summer breaks.
