Aaron Ramsey: Why I’m so excited about Petr Cech joining Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey says Petr Cech can be a "vital" addition to the Arsenal team ahead of next season

Aaron Ramsey believes that Petr Cech will bring “vital” experience to Arsenal as the Gunners look to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
The goalkeeper joined the north London club on a long-term contract last week after Chelsea reluctantly agreed to sell the Czech Republic international to their local rivals.

Cech, who won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League with Chelsea, joined Arsenal after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following Thibaut Courtois’ return from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
And Gunners midfielder Ramsey is looking forward to linking up with his new team-mate in the coming weeks.
“Well obviously it’s a great signing,” said Ramsey, speaking at a New Balance Football event in central London on Wednesday.
“He’s been there and done it, he’s won many things in his career so he knows what it’s all about and what’s required to go on and win things.
“His experience will be vital for us and we’re all looking forward to him joining up.”
Cech has more than 114 caps for the Czech Republic and joined Chelsea from Rennes back in 2004.
He has passed his medical with the Gunners and will join up with his new team-mates shortly to begin preparations for the 2015-16 season.
