Arsenal transfers: Arsene Wenger hints at further summer deals

Arsene Wenger suggests that Arsenal have not completed their summer transfer business yet...

Arsene Wenger has suggested that Arsenal plan to do more business during the summer transfer window following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

The north London side have inevitably been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Wenger looks to bolster his squad ahead of the 2015-16 Premier League season.

The Gunners completed a deal to sign Cech earlier this month as Wenger added some experience to his side, with the Frenchman looking to transform Arsenal into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.

And Wenger says that he is still on the lookout for new players ahead of the new season.

Speaking to the media after Arsenal touched down in Singapore for their pre-season tour on Monday, Wenger said: “That [further transfer deals] doesn’t depend only on us, it depends on whether we can find them, but if we can find one or two players we will do it.

“It depends, if we find ideally what we want, we are still hoping to do something else.”
