Chelsea midfielder congratulates Raheem Sterling on Man City move
Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah backs Raheem Sterling's decision to join Manchester City
Nathaniel Chalobah has congratulated Raheem Sterling on his £49m move to Manchester City.
The England international put pen to paper on a five-year deal after the winger completed a medical at the Premier League runners-up.
Sterling, who scored seven goals and made seven assists last season, was heavily criticised by Liverpool fans after he rejected a £100,000-a-week contract.
However, the City signing’s former England Under-21 international team-mate backed the 20-year-old’s decision to move to The Etihad despite the backlash on social media.
Congrats @sterling31 on your move bro, do your thing

Sterling is City’s first signing of the summer transfer window after James Milner quit the Citizens for Liverpool earlier this month.
The England forward emerged as one of the country’s most-exciting talents under Reds boss Brendan Rodgers after he moved to Liverpool from Queens Park Rangers in a £500,000 deal in 2010.
Sterling scored 23 goals in 129 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit during a five-year spell at Anfield.
