Jose Mourinho is thought to be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements as he prepares his Blues squad for their Premier League title defence next season.
The 22-year-old defender has been touted as a target for Chelsea in recent days, while Wolfsburg are also reported to be keen on signing the centre-half this summer.
Now, the player’s agent has revealed that there is concrete interest from both the Blues and the Bundesliga club as the summer transfer speculation gathers pace.
Rudiger’s representative and half-brother Sahr Senesie is quoted as saying by Goal: “I know there’s interest from Chelsea and Wolfsburg.
“Antonio would love to stay in Germany.”
Stuttgart are believed to value Rudiger at around £12.7m.
Rudiger made 19 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart last season, notching up one assist for his team-mates.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Mourinho lifted the lid on the west London club’s decision to sell Petr Cech to Arsenal earlier this week.
