Djokovic, Gasquet and more: Instagram warms up for Wimbledon semi-finals

Novak Djokovic and Richard Gasquet both took to Instagram ahead of men’s semi-final day at Wimbledon.

SW19 hosts the highly-anticipated last-four match between Novak Djokovic and Richard Gasquet before Andy Murray takes on Roger Federer .

And the stars of the tournament uploaded snaps to their Instagram accounts to let fans know how their preparation is going.

No1 seed and reigning champion Djokovic showed how he was unwound ahead of the semi-final. He shared a picture of his meal and a picture with the restaurant’s head chef.

Djokovic wrote: “@novikovrestaurant thanks for the great dinner last night. Always a pleasure exploring new dishes!”

His opponent Gasquet chose to instead hang out with singer Drake. The 20th seed French-men has reached the Wimbledon semi-final for the second time after his last appearance in 2007 when he lost to Roger Federer 7-6 6-3 6-4.

Gasquet posted: “Nice visit from @champagnepapi at @Wimbledon today! Im big fan!”

BBC Sport gave their support to British No1 seed Andy Murray by posting a picture of the Scot.

The broadcaster wrote: “Fierce. #AndyMurray, #BBCTennis, #AnyoneForTennis, #Wimbledon2Day, #Wimbledon.”

Murray is looking to reach the Wimbledon final after lasting winning the SW19 Championship in 2013.

David Beckham completed the activity on the photo-sharing app after he took his Mum to watch Murray’s older brother Jamie, who has reached the doubles finals.

Beckham wrote: “Great day with my mum at Wimbledon.” Great day with my mum at Wimbledon 🎾
