Gary Neville says Manchester United must replace Angel di Maria if the winger joins PSG this summer

Gary Neville has expressed his concern about Angel di Maria’s apparently imminent transfer away from Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentina international is understood to be closing in on a big-money move to the Ligue 1 club after a largely disappointing debut campaign in the Premier League with the Red Devils.

United boss Louis van Gaal has already brought in five new signings this summer, with the additions of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Scheiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Memphis Depay and Sergio Romero.

However, should United let their club-record signing Di Maria leave Old Trafford in the coming days, Neville has stressed the importance of the Red Devils bringing in an adequate attacking replacement.
