The Colombia international completed a season-long loan move to Premier League champions Chelsea from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco last Friday.
Falcao struggled to make an impression at Old Trafford last season after he scored four goals in 29 games in all competitions for Manchester United.
But former Chelsea defender Sinclair is confident that Blues manager Mourinho is the right coach to resurrect the South American’s best form.
“If there’s anybody that can get someone back to their top form, Jose would do that,” Sinclair told talkSPORT.
“A big part of the move is the fact that he knows someone like Diego Costa.
“His time at Manchester United, he had just come back from a really bad injury and was out for a year before his move to Manchester.
“He wasn’t fully fit and he didn’t get the opportunity to play and to be fully fit as he didn’t play regularly enough.”
Falcao will linked up with his former Atletico Madrid team-mates Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis at Stamford Bridge.
The South American memorably scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in a 4-1 victory over the then-Champions League holders in the Uefa Super Cup in Monaco.
Falcao scored 52 times in 68 La Liga games before his move to Monaco in 2013.
