Man United legend wishes Petr Cech good luck with Arsenal challenge
Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar sends a message to Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech on Twitter
Edwin van der Sar has wished Petr Cech good luck with his new challenge at Arsenal following the goalkeeper’s move to The Emirates earlier this month.
The Czech Republic international penned a four-year with the FA Cup winners after Arsenal agreed a reported £11m fee with bitter rivals Chelsea.
Cech, who will wear the number 33 shirt at The Emirates, will compete with Wojciech Szczesny and David Opsina to become Arsene Wenger’s first-choice goalkeeper.
And former United goalkeeper Van der Sar, who was part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s side that battled Chelsea throughout the 00s and early part of this decade, paid tribute to Cech.

The Arsenal shot stopper collected his fourth Premier League winner’s medal in May, however, Cech barely featured in the title-winning campaign after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois.
The experienced Czech shot stopper finished his Blues career with four Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, four FA Cups and three League Cups.
