Man United transfers: Agent discusses Robert Lewandowski’s future
Robert Lewandowski's agent suggests that Bayern Munich could be tempted into selling should a big-money offer arrive
Robert Lewandowski would cost potential suitors in excess of €50m, the player’s agent has said as the striker continues to be linked with a transfer to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have been touted as a possible destination for the Poland international in recent days as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford following the departures of Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.
Speculation in recent days has suggested that the English club are again considering a move for the forward during the current transfer window.
And although agent Cezary Kucharski is expecting Lewandowski to stay at Bayern beyond the summer, he admits that the Bundesliga club could be tempted into selling should a big-money offer arrive in the coming weeks.
Kucharski told Sport-Bild: “I think it would have to be an extremely high offer, definitely higher than €50m.
“A player of Robert’s class may in the future play in England or Spain but only with the consent of Bayern Munich.”
The 26-year-old forward scored 17 goals and made five assists in the German top-flight for Bayern last season and also netted six times in the Champions League.
