Man United transfers: Fenerbahce confirm Robin van Persie talks
Fenerbahce confirms talks with Manchester United striker Robin van Persie over a move to the Turkish side
Robin van Persie is in talks with Fenerbahce over a summer move from Manchester United, the Turkish club have confirmed.
The Netherlands international has been widely-tipped to leave the Red Devils after a disappointing season under compatriot Louis van Gaal.
Inter Milan were thought to be leading the race to sign the 31-year-old striker, who has just under one-year remaining on his current United deal.
And Fenerbahce confirmed talks with Van Persie and the Red Devils on their Twitter page on Thursday amid reports the Turkish side will offer the striker a four-year deal.

Former Arsenal captain Van Persie joined United from the Gunners in a controversial £24m deal 2012.
The Dutch striker helped to fire Sir Alex Ferguson’s men to the Premier League title in 2013 before the Scot stood down as manager.
Van Persie scored 10 goals in 27 Premier League appearances for the 20-time English champions last term.
