Man United transfers: Louis van Gaal promises two more signings
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to strengthen in two more positions in the summer transfer window
Louis van Gaal says Manchester United haven’t finished their summer spending after admitting he wants to strengthen two more positions in his squad.
The Red Devils have been one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs in the summer transfer window after completing deals for four new players.
We still need to improve at least two positions and we shall do that when it is possible

Memphis Depay moved from PSV Eindhoven in May, before Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian and Morgan Schneiderlin all completed deals last weekend.
But United manager Van Gaal, who was appointed as David Moyes’s successor in May 2014, revealed that there will be more transfer activity at Old Trafford.
“I hope so. No, we are not finished yet, I think,” Van Gaal told United’s website.
“It is what I have said already in many press conferences. We need a balance in the selection and I think we still need to improve at least two positions and we shall do that when it is possible.
“But we shall only buy when the player can give a contribution to our level. And, of course, that is in the eyes of our staff, but I have to have confidence that he can cope with the rhythm of the Premier League.”
Depay swapped Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven for United in a £25m deal in May.
World Cup winner Schweinsteiger joined in a £15m deal from Bayern Munich after a distinguished career at Allianz Arena.
Italy international Darmian completed a £12.5m switch from Torino before United won the race to sign highly-rated Southampton midfielder Schneiderlin.
